The Bairdwatson Charitable Trust provides grants to registered charities in Scotland but may also fund organisations that carry out charitable work, such as social enterprises and similar community organisations. Grants are available to support Scottish initiatives for employment and associated support, and vocational skills. Projects that encourage young people to gain employment or learn new skills are particularly encouraged.

Funding covers all of Scotland but only organisations with an annual income below £2.5million may apply. For the current round, the total fund value is £150,000. Grants from £5,000 to £20,000 for up to 12 months are available. Applications are assessed by the Bairdwatson Trustees with support from Foundation Scotland. The application deadline is 21 February 2025 for decisions in June 2025.
