BBC Children in Need: Grants

Charities and not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people can apply for a Children in Need Grant.

They have several funding programmes that are open. Before you apply, it is important that you choose the one which is right for you and your organisation.

• Project Grant Funding Stream
Project Costs funding supports the aims and delivery of a specific piece of work. This work will usually be time-limited, and based on a defined set of activities. This funding stream is for charities and not-for-profit organisations. Applicants to this programme can apply for grants for up to three years. No application deadline – you can apply at any time.

• Core Grants Funding Stream
Core costs funding can be spent on an organisation’s central running and operational costs. These are the key expenses required to keep your organisation running.
