Common Purpose are delighted to announce that Creative Scotland is again supporting five fully funded places on Common Purpose’s Spring 2023 programmes for Senior and High Potential Leaders who are working independently or within an organisation, to develop their career as cultural leader in Scotland. The applicant can be an artist or be working in any part of the cultural sector but must be living and working in Scotland and within a cultural discipline supported by Creative Scotland.

Over the past two years cultural leaders from a diverse range of organisations have benefitted from the bursary scheme including: BUZZCUT, Traverse Theatre, Sculpture Placement Group, Radge Media, Framework Theatre and Tortoise in a Nutshell.

The Common Purpose Leadership Programme
Common Purpose have two leadership programmes – one for Senior leaders and one for High Potential leaders. Both programmes are successful in helping to develop leaders at a local level and create connections across the UK. This year they are excited that both programmes will contain in-person sessions.

Both programmes will help participants become better leaders, and include the following:
– real-time engagement with experienced facilitators
– inspirational contributors and a diverse cross-sector peer group
– locally-focused sessions, rooted in a city or region, with local peers
– translate – our post-programme events to help embed and reflect on learning

Each programme is open for applications now and more details are below:
Senior Leaders (three places available)
