Creative Glasgow: Call for Contributors for Creative Education Showcase

Closing date: Fri 21 Feb 2025: 11pm

Creative Glasgow is exploring the creative and cultural education, skills, and training ecology for in the city. Have a project or initiative to share? Propose a presentation, workshop or activity.

Creative Glasgow is a membership organisation that connects, champions and celebrates creative practitioners across Greater Glasgow. You can find out more about us, our work, and our members here: https://www.creativeglasgow.co.uk/

On Wed 26 March 2025, Creative Glasgow are hosting a day-long event that celebrates the creative education, professional training, and skills development opportunities that exist across the city. They’ll be hosting this event in Civic House, 26 Civic Street, Glasgow, G4 9RH with an audience drawn from across our membership community.

This day will act as a starting point to think about how they, as a convening and connecting organisation operating in the city, can help bring together Glasgow’s creative communities and practitioners with the educational institutions and their students, to share practice, exchange knowledge and experiences. They want to use this opportunity to consider, as a creative community, how to best support the next generation of creative practitioners in the city, and what Creative Glasgow’s role in that ecology could and should be.

They are now seeking expressions of interest to contribute to this event from Higher and Further Education Institutions, Creative and Cultural Organisations and Businesses, students and recent graduates, artists and creative practitioners.

What we Pay:
