An opportunity for two artists working within Theatre Performance/Dance or Movement to take up a two week research and development residency, plus shared content creation, as part of Inverclyde Culture Collective at The Beacon Arts Centre.

The focus of these residencies is for the artists to have creative freedom to invest in their own artistic practice whilst having paid work to sustain themselves plus shared content creation as part of The Beacon’s Creative Minds Festival (16 -17 May 2023).

FEE
£1400 Fee (x two opportunities)
Calculated at £700 per week per artist x two weeks.
Materials Budget £500 per artist
Travel costs and per diems do not apply to this Residency. There is a separate access budget for all Inverclyde Culture Collective activities managed by the Creative Producer.

The expectation is for the two weeks to be spent as follows: three days research, five days in the Beacon, one day presentation at the Beacon and one day evaluation. Space will be available over the last two weeks of April and the first two weeks of May.
