Now accepting applications for Creative Scotland supported training programme for creatives, cultural and arts organisation across Scotland.
The Cultural Business Development Programme is now open for applications – a free, 12 session course designed for Scottish arts and culture organisations across all disciplines: festivals, events, music, theatre, sound, visual art and more.
The sequential learning programme will support participants to: develop their value proposition, nurture positive change, manage risks, and drive new revenue streams.
WHAT YOU WILL GET
– Access to 12 sessions of expert led training thanks to support from Creative Scotland.
– In person sessions in Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow.

PROGRAMME DETAILS
– 12 sessions over 12 weeks (with holiday breaks to ensure accessibility).
– Two Rounds, starting September 2025 & January 2026.
– Opening and closing in person session in Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
– 10 online sessions via Zoom.
– Travel support available for non-city participants.
– Final full cohort gathering in Summer 2026.
This programme is about turning potential into creative power – with structure, support and peer-led approaches to real world cultural leadership.
The Cultural Business Development Programme is delivered by Curated Place and supported by Creative Scotland. The programme builds on the success of the international Creative Producers model. Alumni from 18+ countries have used their training programmes to launch new events, festivals, programmes, secure major funding, create sustainable creative businesses and shape national cultural policy
