Cutting Edge Theatre are looking to recruit a freelance Drama Tutor to work with them on their Children’s Drama Class for disabled children aged 8-12 years.

Their disabled children’s group have different access requirements and support needs which should be taken into consideration when planning sessions.

They are looking to recruit a tutor to run these classes with an Assistant. They are interested in hearing from people from all backgrounds, and are particularly keen to view applications from artists/facilitators who identify as Disabled or Neurodivergent.

Sessions to be run on a Friday, 2.30pm – 3.30pm every week, for a 40 week year. There may be opportunities to run other classes as they secure funding.

Hours will consist of one hour facilitation + 30 minutes preparation time per week. Rate of pay is £35ph for delivery and £20 for preparation time.

These classes are part of their much larger strategy to ensure equal access for disabled people of all ages as audience members, participants and professionals.
