Emergents awards are aimed at early career creatives (aged 18-30) from any artform in any role, from practitioner to technician and anything in-between.

Applicants must be based in Dumfries and Galloway. The awards aim to assist young people who are currently lacking support to create new or develop existing work and/or have limited access to professional or practical skills development opportunities, mentoring and confidence building.

The intention of Emergents Awards is to:
– Nurture and support independent creative practitioners to focus on their cultural, creative and professional development, and reach the next stage in their practice and or career.
– Provide resources and practical support to help nourish the emerging creative minds that will encourage more people to experience the arts and help our communities flourish.

DEADLINE
If your idea is eligible, they will email you an Expression of Interest form which should be submitted by 12 noon on Mon 22 August 2022.
