Discover! Creative Careers Scotland is a free-to-access, industry-led, UK Government programme designed to inspire and inform 11–18 years olds about career opportunities in the creative industries.
They’re inviting you to be part of this exciting Scotland-wide initiative by asking if you would provide insight into your work for young people.
Ways to Get Involved
– Got five minutes? Share an opportunity you’re already running on their Opportunity Finder to reach more young people.
– Got an hour? Offer a tour of your workplace. Deliver a careers talk at a school assembly (Discover! will connect you with a school/college)
– Got half a day? Host a workplace visit or run hands-on activities at a careers fair.
– Got a day or more? Organise a workshop, offer job shadowing or run a short work placement.
– Can’t host in person? You can also run an online activity — though they encourage in-person engagement where possible.
