Starcatchers are delighted to share details of a brand new role of Early Years Development Manager who will be a passionate, confident and skilled communicator who will thrive in a creative environment in a role requiring excellent public speaking and organisational skills.
Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term
Salary: £28,000 FTE
Location: Scottish-based and working from home, with delivery across Scotland, regular meetings in Edinburgh and regular use of the office in EH14 2SA.
The Early Years Development Manager will be as comfortable in a facilitator role, as they will be in ensuring attention to detail and excellent administration skills in the day to day operations of the Early Years Development team. A knowledge of Early Years policy in Scotland is desirable, as well as a flair for crafting compelling and engaging resources for Early Years practitioners. They will work closely with the Head of Early Years Development to network and nurture partnerships, while seeking out new leads and income generation opportunities.
