Eden Court Highlands are looking for a practitioner with previous experience delivering creative engagement, learning or participation projects to join their Engagement team.

Our Engagement programme offers supported access to the arts, positively impacts health and wellbeing and provides training for the next generation of talent. They believe everyone is an artist and offer inclusive, creative engagement opportunities to people at every stage of life. Through their work they aim to create a thriving and resilient creative community across the Highlands.

They are looking for a practitioner with previous experience delivering creative engagement, learning or participation projects to join their Engagement team. As the Arts Practitioner – Theatre you will be responsible for leading on the 8-10 and 11-13 Youth Theatres and supporting across Eden Court’s Engagement Projects in theatre, as well as other multi-artform projects, or projects for which your experience makes you the best member of the team to contribute to.

The Arts Practitioner – Theatre post is ideal for an experienced practitioner with a commitment to access and inclusion. The post offers the right applicant an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of their vibrant and ambitious creative learning and participation department, whilst collaborating with communities in the Highlands.

SALARY £11,407.24 per annum

HOURS OF WORK 15 per week (usually worked Mon 12pm-8pm, Tue 9.30am-5.30pm, but with some evening and weekend work expected. If this would be a barrier to you, they can consider flexible working arrangements.)

CONTRACT TYPE Permanent

LOCATION Eden Court Highlands, Bishops Road, Inverness, IV3 5SA (though you may travel to different communities across the Highlands. Some home-working is possible in agreement with your line manager.)

PVG An enhanced PVG check will be required. Eden Court will cover the cost of this. A PVG check certifies that you are allowed to work with children and protected adults, and have no convictions that prevent this.
