Edinburgh Performing Arts Development: Supported Residencies

Closing date: Mon 27 May 2024: 5:00PM

EPAD’s Supported Residencies programme aims to support the creation of new work and to build connections between Edinburgh-based performing arts creatives and venues across the city. For the second round, they are offering three one-week residencies, each with a specific artform or practice development focus.

  • Traverse Theatre (9 – 13 September 2024) – with a focus on new writing
  • Scottish Storytelling Centre (16 – 20 September 2024) – with a focus on storytelling
  • North Edinburgh Arts Centre (28 October – 1 November 2024) – with a focus on community-led practice

There is a budget of £1,500 attached to each residency. The programme is open to artists working in the performing arts at all stages of their careers and independent producers are also welcome to apply. You can download application guidance here.

Applications for the second round of residencies open on Mon 29 April 2024 and close at 5pm on Mon 27 May 2024.
