This Autumn Fair Access at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are running four free courses in Performance, Production for Stage and Screen, Singing Together and Community Arts for S5 & S6 pupils or those aged 16+.
Would you like to Get Into: Performing and Production Arts but not sure where to begin? These free Get Into courses could be the perfect answer.
Starting in Autumn 2024 they’re running four separate programmes in:
• Performance (acting, devising and dance)
• Production for Stage and Screen (sound, lighting and camera)
• Singing Together (confidence building and vocal leadership)
• Community Arts (leading creative projects with communities)
These courses are a great opportunity for you to:
• Build your confidence
• Develop your skills in your chosen field
• Meet others who love the same thing as you
These free weekly sessions will be held at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. They will run over 10 weeks on Saturday’s in September – December 2024. They will provide a percentage of travel expenses for participants.
Please note: Fair Access will prioritise those aged 16-19 facing barriers to accessing the arts such as those:
– living in an SIMD20 postcode
– who are care experienced or estranged
– identifying as Black, Indigenous or a Person of Colour (living – at an SIMD20 or SIMD40 postcode)
