Framework Theatre Company are looking for six emerging performers to bring short (10 minute) piece of writing to life in a live-streamed event this autumn. ‘___after___’ will be a night of short performances written, directed and performed by emerging artists who are Scottish or Scotland-based.

The rehearsal process will be a singular session on the day of the performance in Glasgow on 15 October 2022 (to be confirmed). These works have been written by six emerging writers and are inspired by iconic Scottish stories and storytellers. This could mean a re-telling of an old story from a fresh perspective, writing in the style of an iconic storyteller or a response to a story/storytellers.

These pieces will be performed in rep, meaning that six actors will be hired to perform 10 roles.

The fee for this work is £150. You will only be required for the singular day of rehearsals + performance in Glasgow. You will receive the script(s) in advance and will be expected to have reviewed it prior to rehearsals. Travel expenses will be covered within Scotland, so if you live outwith the Central Belt they highly encourage you to apply.
