Framework Theatre Company are presenting Louder: A Project for New Writers in May 2024. This project is the sequel to Home, our 2021 project delivered in association with Vanishing Point. This series of work is specifically designed to support emerging writers of marginalised genders (women, non-binary, trans or another marginalised gender) to take the next step in their careers.
They are seeking eight emerging/early-career performers to present four new plays at the Traverse Theatre on 3 May 2024. Each piece gets one day of rehearsal w/b 29 April 2024, and a short tech on the day of the performance.
This project is presented with support from Vanishing Point Theatre Company, the Royal Lyceum Theatre and Stellar Quines. Louder: A Project for New Writers is funded by the National Lottery via Creative Scotland.
