Framework Theatre Company are delighted to be recruiting a Company Placement for 2027. This opportunity is for an emerging/early-career artist based in Scotland.

They are recruiting one Theatre-Maker to join Framework Theatre Company on a 10-month long, part-time, paid placement. 

The Company Placement role will run from January – October 2027 and is designed for a theatre-maker who wants to learn more about running a theatre company in Scotland. The Framework team will work with you to agree a bespoke programme of activity that reflects your needs, interests and availability over the period so that you are able to keep other commitments and/or manage your own access needs or caring responsibilities during this time. This is not a creative role; it is a chance to focus on the behind the scenes of making things happen.

Commitment: 20 days of ad-hoc work over a 10 month period (January – October 2027). Estimated at two days per month.

Fee: £3,000 (20 days at £150/day)

Working Pattern: Remote working with some in-person time primarily across Edinburgh and Glasgow.
