Scottish Government: Investing in Communities Fund

Grants up to £350,000 over three years are available to registered charities, SCIOs and Community Councils for place-based, community-led activity that will support recovery from the pandemic.

The Investing in Communities Fund (ICF) is a community focussed fund supporting organisations based in the places they serve delivering activity across all four of the following areas for action, that reflect the strategic context:

• tackling poverty and inequality, including child poverty
• developing and sustaining place based approaches
• community-led regeneration
• ensuring a just transition to net zero

Eligible applicant organisations that will be considered for support from the ICF are:

• community/voluntary organisation
• registered charity
• housing association/housing co-operative/registered social landlord (RSL)
• Community Council
• social enterprise/community benefit society/Community Interest Company (CIC)

Eligible proposal types
The fund supports the revenue costs associated with community consultations, feasibility work, and the design and/or delivery of local community-identified and community-led projects and services that will address local challenges, priorities and needs.

Submitting your application
• the fund opened on Tue 31 May 2022 at 2pm
• the fund will close on Tue 28 June 2022 at 2pm
• application forms must be submitted by eligible organisations
