Are you interested in being part of an immersive theatre experience at the Edinburgh Fringe? A Teen Odyssey by Spanish company La Mecànica is looking for local young people to volunteer in performances, helping create a dynamic and interactive show.

You’ll be part of a live, moving performance at @summerhallarts, working closely with their team. No prior experience is required – just enthusiasm and availability.

The team are looking for:
– A Boom light operator
– A Performer assistant
– And audience interaction support (x2)

They require a minimum of two but ideally four young people to volunteer for each performance to take part in specific interactive elements of the show. You must attend a mandatory training session on the 29 July 2025 from 5pm – 7pm and arrive 30 minutes before each performance you participate in.

Performance Schedule

The show runs for 55 minutes and will run on the following dates and times:
• Thu 31 July (PREVIEW) – 12 noon & 1.30 pm
• Fri 1 – Sun 10 August – 12 noon & 1.30 pm
• Tue 12 – Sun 17 August – 12 noon & 1.30 pm
• Tue 19 – Mon 25 August – 12 noon & 1.30 pm
