Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub: Youth Reuse and Sharing Grant

Closing date: Mon 20 Oct 2025: 11pm

The Youth Reuse and Sharing Grant is a grant of up to £1000 for projects that involve young people aged between 16 to 25 years old, to introduce a more sustainable way of buying and using products through enabling shared access, providing reusable items or finding new ways to repurpose unused items.

They want young people to be involved in the design of the project. You may want to ask these questions to the young people you work with:

– What changes would you like to see and why?
– How would you encourage your peers to reuse or share?
– What would make it easier for you to reuse or share?

Consider how reusing and sharing could help with the activities that your young people are involved with or are interested in.

What can the grant be used for?

All costs for materials and expenses to deliver your project. This may include but is not limited to:

– Research such as surveys and gathering insights
– Project launch event including venue hire, refreshments
– Printed and online promotional materials
– Starter pack of stock or reusable items
– Storage – racks, rails, boxes
– Visual display materials

You may not use the funding for:

– Costs already incurred
– Items or equipment of a personal nature
– Repairs or improvements to premises or land not owned by or leased to, the organisation applying.

The project must be completed by 31 March 2026.
