Macrobert Arts Centre is looking for at least one freelance (self employed) theatre artist, to deliver theatre-based sessions for young people in Stirling.

Weekly M Drama sessions are a place where young people can explore their passion for the performing arts in a safe and supportive environment, improve their confidence and, most importantly, make friends. Young people are lead through a range of fun games and activities to explore all aspects of theatre.

In particular, they are looking for an artist to deliver the M Drama: Mini (P1 -P3) weekly sessions this Autumn (60 mins per session), and cover the M Drama: Junior and M Drama (90 mins per session) sessions this Winter.

Autumn 2024: 26 August – 13 October 2024
Winter 2024: 4 November – 22 December 2024

Current class times are:
M Drama: Mini – Thursday 5pm – 6pm
M Drama: Junior – Wednesday 4.45pm – 6.15pm
M Drama – Wednesday 6.45pm – 8.15pm

They are looking for an artist that is passionate about the role that quality arts activities can play in the lives of our participants and audiences, who is positive, energetic and who thrives in a creative environment with young people.

This freelance, self-employed opportunity will be paid in line with Scottish Artists Union hourly rates of pay:
£28.30 per hour for a new graduate artist
£35.50 per hour for an artist with three years+ experience
£44 per hour for an artist with five years+ experience
