Parents & Carers in Performing Arts’ Business Development and Programme Manager will be responsible for delivering PiPA’s Programmes, generating new business, and building on and developing long term relationships with existing membership organisations in Music, Dance, Opera
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PiPA Programme(s)
– Establish and maintain strong relationships with organisations in order to ensure client retention and further business opportunities
– Provide excellent support to member organisations implementing family friendly working practices and managing the delivery of the PiPA Charter Programme
– Deliver an annual schedule of programme specific seminars and network events for members
– Support the delivery of external webinars and learning events and PiPA’s symposia
– Develop case studies, how-to guides, fact sheets, and other resources, as required, on all aspects of family friendly working practices for performing arts employers
– Keep abreast of industry developments and market trends
New Business
– Identify new business and member opportunities
– Create and convert a strong pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are met
– Monitor and evaluate engagement and impact of PiPA programmes
– Be responsible for evaluation and funding reports, as required
– Provide content for PiPA’s marketing and communication channels
Other
– Participate in company meetings and perform other duties, as required, commensurate with the status and purpose of the post
– Advocate for PiPA, its values, aims, and activity
– Maximise income and minimise expenditure wherever possible, without jeopardising the quality of the work or the reputation of PiPA
– Be familiar with, and abide by, all PiPA Company Policies
PERSON SPECIFICATION
They are looking for the following essential criteria and will use this list to shortlist applicants. They want to hear from applicants who have experience in the below areas or in comparable fields, and encourage you to demonstrate your transferable skills:
– At least five years’ experience working with businesses / performing arts organisations either in HR, programme delivery, development, change management, or similar
– A proven track record of success in business-to-business sales and / or fundraising
– Passionate about excellent service with proactive, listening based, approach to delivery
– Ability to review and communicate monitoring data and information, qualitative and quantitative, and use it to identify solutions and improvements
– A demonstrable commitment to inclusion and diversity
Part time (21 hrs), permanent contract £32-36,000 per annum, pro rata
