Edinburgh Lighting and Sound School offer up to 15 places a year for committed and enthusiastic students who wish to develop a career in Technical Theatre and Production Arts for Performance.

This is a full-time vocational course that prepares students to become versatile professionals in a wide range of production roles in theatre and entertainment related industries. There are fifteen places on the course. Recruitment is by interview.

The course runs from April 2022 – February 2023 and all students have the opportunity to work in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The school considers that interest and enthusiasm are as important as formal qualifications. The ideal candidate will show commitment and a high degree of maturity. The School is based in the industry. Students will be working alongside professionals from the first day.
