The Director of Engagement, Participation and Training is a new post. You will be responsible for leading all engagement, participation and training related activity at The Lyceum; developing and managing strategies, in line with the vision and aims of the organisation, to build positive stakeholder relationships and develop engagement at The Lyceum.
You will work with the Executive Team and Senior Team and contribute to the overall strategic development of the theatre.
You will build on our current successful programme of participatory and engagement projects. These include our Youth Theatre, Over 60s Groups, Schools Programmes and creative engagements with our productions.
You will also lead on delivery of a new strategy to build positive engagement with the Lyceum Theatre with all the communities of Edinburgh. Lastly you will develop a new training and talent-development arm to the Lyceum Theatre, covering craft and theatre skills. You will ensure that all our activity is designed to achieve the best outcomes in revenue, profile and talent development.
You will also contribute to the overall strategic development of the theatre as a key member of the Senior Management Team.
The Director of Engagement, Participation and Training reports to the Co-Chief Executives but is line managed by the Executive Director. The post works closely with the Director of Producing, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Director of Development and also has an important role in liaising with colleagues in Estates, HR and Marketing and Commercial.
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 p.a
