If your organisation would like to host a PhD researcher as a research intern or artist-in-residence in 2026, fully-funded by Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities (SGSAH), they invite you to submit a proposal.

SGSAH facilitates paid internships and artist residencies for Arts & Humanities PhD researchers, enabling them to spend up to three months (FTE) working with a host organisation. These collaborations give organisations the opportunity to benefit from the specialist expertise, creativity and fresh perspectives of doctoral researchers, while providing valuable professional experience beyond academia. By hosting an intern, your organisation can gain targeted support on projects, expand networks across the Arts & Humanities community, and contribute to the development of future research leaders.
