Are you a queer creative looking to explore, grow and flourish in a safe and inclusive space? Are you looking for support and guidance from down-to-earth professionals? Do you want to make connections with other LGBTQ+ artists? Queer to Stay is for you!

Queer to Stay is our year-long development programme for LGBTQ+ creatives. Thanks to Creative Scotland’s Create Inclusion Fund, they are able to invite 13 artists to join their first ever Queer to Stay cohort.

The programme will include bursary support, masterclasses and talks with guest speakers, intensive residencies with scratch sharings, and opportunities to network, discuss and reflect with peers.

One artist will receive a bursary of £2,000, while two will receive £1,000 to support the creation of new work. 10 further payments of £500 will be awarded as an investment in LGBTQ+ artists, to help facilitate a Queer to Stay community with opportunities for peer mentoring and group reflection.

As this is a pilot programme, Queer to Stay artists will have the opportunity to co-design the model with us, shaping the project for future cohorts.
