Spotlight Shotts are currently seeking an experienced Youth Theatre Facilitator to lead weekly workshops for young people aged between 5-7 years and 8-11 years in North Lanarkshire.

Spotlight Shotts Youth Theatre will have its first sessions commence in late August 2025 and they are looking to recruit a Youth Theatre Facilitator for their Saturday morning classes based at a local venue in Shotts.

The classes will begin with the MINI’S group (5-7 years) which will run from 10am-11.30am and next will be our JUNIOR’s session (8-11 years) which will start and conclude between 12pm-2pm. Both sessions will be held at the same venue.

Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of leading drama with similar age groups and have a relevant and up to date PVG.

They are now accepting applications with the following:

A fee of £130 (inclusive of prep) + a travel supplement of £10 is available for each Saturday session (£520pm + £40 travel subs).

The role will commence on Sat 30 August 2025 and they would ideally like to have the successful candidate in the role the week before classes begin. Online interviews will take place the week beginning Mon 18 August 2025.
