Starcatchers and Platform are both celebrating their 20th Anniversaries in 2026. As part of our anniversary programmes, they would like to commission an Early Years Artist/s to develop a new and original event for early years audiences that will be shared as part of Made in Easterhouse 20:26 – a programme of work featuring 26 creative projects celebrating their 20th anniversary.

This event will be developed through collaborative play and regular contact with babies, children and adults from North East Glasgow through Play Cafe sessions running at Platform and across the local area.

They are especially keen to engage an artist from a background typically underrepresented in early years arts. This commission is open to artists from marginalised backgrounds, specifically global majority artists, disabled artists, d/Deaf artists and/or artists from working-class backgrounds.
