The programme will take place over three Saturdays, curated by Emma Jones, one of Scotland’s leading Lighting Designers. The workshops will be facilitated by Lighting Designers who will share their own stories and experience. There will also be time to ask questions and engage in discussions with the presenters, to seek advice and learn from their journeys and experiences in the industry.
Participants developed an understanding of professional processes and potential career paths while building practical skills and increasing confidence.

Who can apply?
You should be looking to begin or continue a career in Lighting Design for theatre (or other live performance) and plan to pursue your career in Scotland. They welcome applications from women, non-binary people and people from other marginalised genders. This project is designed to help address inequity within the field of lighting design and so they are particularly keen to hear from those who of communities which have been historically marginalised and underrepresented within the theatre industry.
