Applications are now open for M*****classes: Sound Design ‘23. This series of workshops are run by Stellar Quines and have been curated by Clare Hibberd, one of Scotland’s leading Sound Designers.

M*****classes is a unique training opportunity that aims to address the lack of gender diversity in creative design and production roles. Each set of M*****classes is focused on a specific area and consists of workshops, talks with professionals and hands on experience.

This is a free programme for those who have some experience or an interest in a field – but require refreshment or up-skilling before presenting themselves as viable candidates for these positions. M*****classes is for women, non-binary people and people from another marginalised genders. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of those individuals.

M*****classes: Sound Design ‘23 workshops will be facilitated by Sound Designers who have experience of working in Scotland, London and internationally. Participants will develop an understanding of professional processes and potential career paths while building practical skills and increasing confidence.
