Strange Town Touring Company are auditioning for three actors for an upcoming tour – including two performances at the Traverse Theatre – of Balisong by Jennifer Adam, an important play aimed at promoting active citizenship relating to knife crime.

The casting breakdown is:
– two female-identifying actors – playing age 16-18
– one male-identifying actor – playing age 16-18

Two week rehearsals in Edinburgh (venue TBC)
Mon 31 Aug – Fri 4 Sep, 10am – 5pm
Mon 7 – Fri 11 Sep, 10am – 5pm
Sat 12 Sep 10.30am – 4.30pm
Three week tour of Edinburgh Secondary schools 14 Sept– 2 Oct
Public performances 25 & 26 Sep – Traverse Theatre

Weekly rate: Equity minimum £631 plus holiday pay
