Street Cones are looking for creative practitioners across Scotland who can deliver their creative workshops to vulnerable groups (mostly recovery & justice system) online and in person.
Street Cones are a collective of Creative Professionals supported by a board of trustees and back office team. They use the Arts with a focus on Theatre/Film to help affect positive change for the groups they work with.
Most groups are facilitated by two creative practitioners so you will be part of a small team. The objective is to meet with groups usually once a week starting with a blank page and developing content (monologues, spoken word, sketches) within an anonymous safeguarding protocol using fiction as a safety net.
You should have enhanced disclosure and have a background in creative sector; most of their facilitators are professional Playwrights, Directors, Actors and Film Makers. They all have shared enthusiasm around exploring ways the Arts can touch marginalised and excluded groups in a positive way.
£25ph (usually four hours paid for a two hour workshop as some prep/training etc).
