Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) are looking to appoint an experienced and passionate coordinator who specialises in the areas of drama, production and/or film to join the Dance, Drama, Production and Film team.

Junior Conservatoire Coordinator – Drama, Production and Film

Salary Scale: £25,709 – £31,555 per annum

They are: looking to appoint an experienced and passionate coordinator who specialises in the areas of drama, production and/or film to join the team in the Junior Conservatoire of Dance, Drama, Production and Film. They welcome applications from those who specialise in all artforms as a full time role or those who specialise in one artform and would be interested in working on a part time basis.

In this role you will coordinate the activity in Acting, Musical Theatre, Young Theatre Companies, Production and Film as part of the Junior Conservatoire programmes in our venues in Glasgow. You will work closely with the JC DDPF Coordinator for Dance to ensure all students have the best learning journey and opportunities while attending the Junior Conservatoire.

You will: have previous experience of working in performing arts and/or education setting, excellent coordination and organisation skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressured environment. Demonstration of project management and reporting, as well as good working knowledge of finance and budgets.

You are: highly motivated, dynamic and someone who thrives in a demanding, intense, yet passionate educational environment.

You must have: relevant professional experience as a performer/ artist/ teacher/ coordinator, excellent communication skills and be passionate about developing young people’s potential, along with knowledge and experience of arts education.

This post will involve some evening and weekend work during each academic session (35 weeks in the academic year).
