More about the project:
This co-creation project focuses on empowering young people through the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The UNCRC outlines 54 articles detailing the rights of children, including the right to express their views, engage in cultural and artistic activities, and be part of decisions that affect them.
Through this project, they are working to help arts organisations better understand how to incorporate youth voices meaningfully into their work, ensuring that future projects are youth-focused and uphold the principles of the UNCRC. By participating, you will contribute to shaping how these organisations design and deliver creative programs in the future, making them more inclusive, engaging, and relevant to young people.
Your input will help shape new ways for arts organisations to support young people’s creative, personal, and social development, encouraging organisations to meaningfully amplify the voices of young people and children across Scotland.
