Tortoise in a Nutshell and Lyth Arts Centre are looking for a workshop leader to undertake a series of engagement workshops for their production Ginger in November/December 2022.
Ginger is a brand new production which combines puppetry, object manipulation and magic to create an exciting, multi-sensory performance for 3-7 year olds and their families. Ginger is touring across Scotland with an attached engagement project which aims to broaden the access to the piece and ensure more groups can attend their local arts space. They are looking for a local freelance workshop leader to undertake sessions with groups including nurseries, schools and families within Caithness.
The workshops will be designed and created by Tortoise in a Nutshell surrounding the themes and content of the production. The workshop leader will be provided with workshop plans and resources to undertake sessions within groups settings. There will be a total of 10 workshop sessions, the schedule of which will be created in conjunction with the workshop leader and the groups availability but within the rough region of mid November- mid December 2022.
Criteria:
– Experience of working with Early Years
– Experience of undertaking arts workshops
– PVG checked
– Access to a car and ability to travel within the region
The workshop sessions are 45-60 minutes long, there will be up to 10 sessions for a total fee of £812.50, resources will be provided and travel costs reimbursed.
