Sixteen is a personal portrait of life as a teenage girl in the past, present, and future. This devised dance performance uses verbatim text to focus on the experiences and challenges of growing up as a teenage girl in Ayrshire between 1965 and 2022.

From interviews with a range of Ayrshire women aged 14-72, the production will explore their memories and experiences of being a teenage girl.
