Waiting for Champagne

Three Sisters
139 Cowgate, Edinburgh, EH1 1JS
£2.50 – £10 (Pay What You Can)

Waiting for Champagne follows former friends and room-mates, Annie and Frances, who haven’t spoken to each other in more than a year. But sparks fly when Frances shows up at Annie’s door one night, drunk and demanding to talk.

Buried truths are dragged back up to the surface as the women navigate family expectations, sexuality, and their own ambitions. Will Annie and Frances be able to resolve all of the things left unsaid? Or will the weight of the past shatter any possibility of a future they might have?
