Shazam Theatre Company provide drama, musical theatre, devised theatre and workshops to the young people aged 8-30 in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Their tutors use drama techniques to develop skills in performance, but also to build confidence, nurture creativity and forge friendships. The company believes that any young person who wishes to take part in the arts should be able to, and work with over 100 young people each week from all different walks of life. They offer participants a range of unique opportunities that include performances at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, National Theatre ‘Connections’ Festival and large-scale productions in Aberdeen.
