Youth Theatre Arts Scotland is seeking an NFYT Administrator to join our team in the delivery of our flagship event, the National Festival of Youth Theatre 2026.

Before the Festival you will be a key member of the YTAS team, ensuring the smooth preparation and administration of the event. During the festival you will join the team in residence at Eden Court Theatre in Inverness. Camping accommodation, transport, and all meals during the festival will be provided.

As NFYT Administrator, you will be working exclusively on the co-ordination of NFYT 2026. This fixed-term freelance position is for 50 days from February to August 2026.

Commitment

Pre-event: Approx. 42 days (January – July 2026 ), homeworking and occasional in-person meetings in Edinburgh.
During event: Five days, Thursday 3 – Monday 6 July, full time and in residence at the National Festival of Youth Theatre in Inverness.
Post-event: Three days (July/August), event debrief meeting.
