Arts Culture Health and Wellbeing Scotland have joined forces with Creative Scotland to host a series of online events exploring the development of an Arts and Mental Health Framework for Scotland and is looking for health and arts professionals and those with lived experiences to collaborate, create and actively shape the framework.
Supported by The Baring Foundation and the Creative Scotland’s National Lottery Fund, this Framework will highlight the existing activity of those who work at the intersection of arts and mental health, enabling them to develop a shared vision.
Creative Scotland have been consulting with Arts Culture Health and Wellbeing Scotland, The Mental Health Foundation - Scottish Arts and Mental Health Festival, and We are Here Scotland and launched the project at the end of June.
They are looking for you to get involved and by working together in collaboration we can co-author and create something that strengthens and benefits everyone who works in this sector, captures your needs and ambitions, show and what we deliver together as a sector and supports our shared visions.
Because of this, the intention is for the framework creation to be highly collaborative. They want to hear what you have to say, so that they can work together in a shared approach to find a collective vision for arts and mental health in Scotland. These engagement sessions are an opportunity for you to contribute to the initial stage of development of the framework.
