Youth Theatre Arts Scotland are hosting a bid clinic on the Hugh Fraser Foundation’s final grant round of 2026 with our Fundraising Consultant, Phyllis Martin from Truffle Pig.

The Hugh Fraser Foundation makes donations to registered charities that are active in arts and culture, medical and health, the environment and education, care and support of the young and elderly, people with disabilities, and the under-privileged. They focus on applications relating to activities and projects in Scotland, particularly in parts where the local economy and/or circumstances make fund-raising for charitable purposes difficult. Grants will only be made to organisations which are registered charities or community interest companies.
The bid clinic is for any organisations planning to apply to the fund. You can come ready with a draft application, or just with some ideas, and Phyllis will talk through the application process, with time for discussion.
While YTAS have no influence over the outcome of the fund itself, Phyllis’ 20 years’ experience in the trenches of arts, youth, and community sector fundraising perfectly equips her to offer practical, realistic guidance.
We’d also recommend reading the guidance on the Turcan Connell website before attending the session.
Join us on Monday 12 October from 10.30am -12pm… plenty of time before the Fund’s deadline on Friday 30 October.
