Creative Flexibility – Unlocking Work-Life balance through Autonomy and Collaboration Webinar

Venue: Online
Prices: Free

A free webinar hosted by Parents and Carers in Performing Arts (PiPA) for Arts leaders interested in changing the way they think about working, and the link between flexibility, autonomy and creativity and the practicalities required to make it work.

They’ll be reflecting on their own journey from scrappy start up to the tried and tested model we use now, and sharing a brand-new resource.

Speakers:

  • Caro Boss is the Communications Manager for Diverse City. She began her career in commercial theatre, but quickly gave her heart to arts with a cause, and has worked in the arts/charity/social justice space for the last 15 years. She is a mum of two young children, and has a spouse who needs regular mental health support. She works part-time and has pioneered ‘Turbo-Toil’ with the support of her company as a means of managing the school holidays.

  • Constance Oak is a freelance Company Stage Manager, facilitator and PiPA Trustee. Constance is a mum of two children aged 2 & 6, and over the past two years has worked on the following shows: The Hot Wing King, Odysseys & Trouble in Mind at the National Theatre, and also West End hit For Black Boys as either job share or flexible hours. Constance also runs a short 12 week course for young techs for the past three years at Stratford East.

This will be a Zoom Webinar with captions.

If you’d like to talk about access requirements, please email admin@pipacampaign.com and they will work with you to meet them. We are a small team and getting in touch in advance allows them to best support you.

This event is running during National Work Life Week.
