Are you ready to bring your group to the National Festival of Youth Theatre (#NFYT2026) in July? Let us help you prepare for the event of the year and make sure you have all the information you need to sign up before festival bookings close in April.

The first part of this event will be an open information session for youth theatre leaders who are interested in offering NFYT as an opportunity for their group, whether you want to perform a show, attend without a show, or visit for one day. There will be time for questions and the session should leave you feeling confident about what is required to book for your group.

From 1-2pm, YTAS’ Projects Producer and Sector Development Manager will host a Creative Exchange. Designed as an opportunity for any group leaders who intend to apply to bring a show to the festival, the exchange will allow leaders to explore their early stage ideas and talk about their process with peers. We hope that this will leave everyone with all the information and inspiration needed to complete the booking form by the 16 February deadline*.

* Note the earlier deadline for performance proposals. Festival bookings can be made until April.

Who is it for?

Practitioners: For those on the front line of creative delivery.

Managers: For those of you who are running everything from behind the scenes.
