Birds of Paradise Theatre Company (BOP) is Scotland’s leading disability-led professional theatre company. They create high-quality theatre and provide opportunities for disabled artists to develop and thrive.
They’re seeking maternity cover for their Young Artists Development Officer, supporting an existing group of 12 disabled young creatives (18–25) to develop their production for April 2027. The Young Artists retain full creative control of the work; this role provides the dramaturgy, directing, design, or creative producing support they need to realise it, through weekly sessions from January to March 2027 and into production week in April.
You’ll receive a full handover from the current post holder before taking on the group independently, and ongoing support from BOP’s core team throughout.
