Impact Arts are looking for a Creative Lead to plan and deliver high-quality, structured and adaptable creative workshops, in line with the programme’s objectives and themes.
Job title: Creative Lead
Salary: £25,886 per annum (£15,531.60 pro rata for 22.5 hours per week / £20,708.80 pro rata for 30 hours per week)
Based at: Initially based at The Boardwalk, Brunswick Street, Glasgow. Potential for delivery to move to another location in Glasgow or surrounding areas.
Reporting to: Programme Manager
Duration of contract: Fixed term contract until 15 August 2025 with the possibility of an extension, dependant on funding outcomes.
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week over three days, Wednesday – Friday until 20 June 2025. From 23 June – 15 August 2025, 30 hours per week over four days, Monday – Thursday. In the event of a contract extension, working hours and days would be confirmed in line with funding outcomes.
Travel: May be required between Impact Arts projects
Main Responsibilities
As a Creative Lead, you will develop and deliver a fun and engaging creative programme, including trips to local heritage and cultural venues or sites of interest. This may involve working in partnership with other organisations.
Ensure the needs of the young people are embedded in the delivery plans, and support participants to engage fully.
All activities must be inclusive and responsive to the needs and competency levels of the group.

Qualifications & Experience
SCQF Level 9 in a relevant discipline
Relevant qualifications/experience within the arts industry
At least two years of experience in delivering artistic projects in diverse community settings
Experience and ability to work with young people who may display challenging behaviour, those experiencing social anxiety, experiences of mental illness or have additional support needs.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Competent IT skills including MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Experience with any creative production software is desirable
Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Experience of planning and delivering exciting and adaptable workshops
Ability to manage budgets
