Cutting Edge Theatre are looking to recruit an experienced Drama Tutor to work with them on our Inspire Drama Classes for learning disabled young adults aged 18 -25. They will be co-leading with another Tutor and Assistant[s]. The class will be held in Aberdeen centre.
The post holder will be part of the planning of the Company’s work and deliver sessions throughout the year. They will help identify and monitor participants’ development in collaboration with the Artistic Director and the rest of the team. Their young artists have different access requirements and support needs which should be taken into consideration when assisting with sessions: the post holder will be expected to maintain a high-quality, safe environment at all times. Previous experience of working with learning disabled people is preferred.
The post holder commitment will be from September 2022 – June 2025, the commitment is three hours per week (including preparation time). Rate of pay is £4000 for the full year as they work academic terms and is £100 per week which includes preparation time.
