The Drama Mill are looking for a fun, enthusiastic and creative Drama Facilitator to join their team in East Lothian and Edinburgh.
They want someone who loves working with children and young people, has a real passion for drama and theatre, and can bring plenty of energy, imagination and encouragement to their sessions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading creative drama sessions using games, improvisation, storytelling, character work, and performance with children from 5-18
- Encouraging young people to be confident, creative, and willing to have a go.
- Supporting students with different abilities, personalities, and levels of experience.
- Helping to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
- Working collaboratively with other Drama Mill tutors to create exciting theatre experiences for students.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience working with children and young people in drama, theatre, education or a similar setting.
- Someone who is energetic, friendly, reliable and enthusiastic.
- A creative thinker who enjoys encouraging young people to explore and express themselves.
- A team player who is happy to get stuck in and have fun!
- Relevant drama, theatre or education qualifications are an advantage but are not essential.
