Eden Court are seeking a part-time Project Manager to develop and deliver CashBack Next Gen Creatives, a youth-led project for 12–16-year-olds to find their artistic outlet, have fun and express themselves.

Creative Engagement at Eden Court is founded by their core belief in cultural democracy; that everyone is an artist, and everyone we encounter has the skills and experiences to be creators of culture.

Eden Court’s Engagement Department delivers creative arts projects, facilitates civic conversations and devises programmes of activity across the Highlands for people of all ages and abilities. Everything they do is imagined and delivered by their team as well as freelancers working across the Highlands and Moray.

The post is ideal for someone with a background in project managing participatory arts projects for young people and who has a friendly and approachable disposition. The post offers the right applicant an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of a vibrant and ambitious creative learning and participation department.

CashBack Next Gen Creatives is a youth-led project for 12–16-year-olds to find their artistic outlet, have fun and express themselves. Working alongside industry professionals’ participants try out multiple disciplines including acting, dance and filmmaking. They then choose their own creative pathway where they develop their skills and build towards a showcase held at Eden Court.

SALARY £19,200 per annum (£32,000 per annum FTE)
RELOCATION A relocation allowance is available, where required
HOURS OF WORK 22.5 per week
CONTRACT TYPE Permanent
LOCATION Eden Court Highlands, Bishops Road, Inverness, IV3 5SA (though you may travel to different communities across the Highlands. Some home-working is possible in agreement with your line manager.)

PENSION Up to 6% Company contribution with The People’s Pension
HOLIDAYS Full time equivalent allowance of 36 days of paid annual leave, inclusive of eight public holidays. The annual leave allowance increases to 37 days after completing one year’s service up to a maximum of 41 days after five years service. Holiday entitlement will be pro-rated for those working less than 37.5 hours per week.
PVG An enhanced PVG check that Eden Court will cover the cost of. A PVG check certifies that you are allowed to work with children and protected adults, and have no convictions that prevent this.
