Residency working with Young People on Rig Arts Open Studios programme exploring a proposed thematic, idea or concept, working towards a live event, happening, performance or exhibition.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced artist working within any or multiple art forms to work in collaboration with young people connected with RIG Arts Open Studio programme to explore through creative means a proposed thematic, idea or concept, working towards a live event, happening, performance or exhibition. The residency forms part of a larger programme of residencies and projects with Inverclyde Culture Collective, a Culture Collective Project.

Further information about the residency:
• Work in collaboration with young people connected to the Open Studio programme to explore through creative means a proposed thematic, idea or concept
• Work towards a live event, happening, performance or exhibition or other point of sharing
• Managing an allocated £1000 budget of which Open Studio participants hold as part of the project
• Work within a structure that provides space for the young people to develop their own practice, learn further artistic skills and explore as a group an area of mutual relevance between artist and participants.

Fee – £4400 (20 Days x £220)
Materials Budget – £1500 (£500 for artists own materials and £1000 for a live event, happening, performance or exhibition or other point of sharing)
