This placement offers aspiring producers the opportunity to work within the Citizens Theatre for 12 months – learning the role of a producer through hands-on training.

Contract: Full time, 12-month fixed term
Hours: 35 per week. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role. TOIL may be given where reasonably possible, in line with the TOIL policy.
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
Please note this salary will be supplemented by Stage One to ensure parity across all placements.
Start Date: August / September 2026 – dependent on availability

This is an opportunity for a committed aspiring producer to gain experience and insight into a busy and ambitious producing theatre. The Trainee Producer will sit within the Producing team and work closely with the Production and Participate teams to deliver the annual artistic and performance programme. This includes in-house productions and projects, co-productions, visiting programme and tours.
