Join Together to develop you understanding of how to implement the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach in your work and organisation. The UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 brought important children’s rights protections into law in Scotland, and taking a Children’s Human Rights Approach is crucial to ensure that children’s rights are implemented in practice.
The workshop aims to equip attendees with:
- An understanding of the UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024
- How they can consider children’s rights in their work
- Knowledge of the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach
- Ideas for how to implement the five principles in their working practice
- Resources for further study
You do not need any prior children’s rights knowledge to attend this course. All attendees will receive a participants pack to get familiar with materials in advance of the session.
